The newly formed Rancho Cordova Theatre Company based at Cal Cap Black Box Theatre in Rancho Cordova, is an exciting venture that promises to enrich the community and inspire young minds, A children’s theatre company is a vibrant hub where creativity flourishes, and imaginations take flight. It’s a place where children discover the magic of storytelling, learn the art of performance, and build lasting friendships. 

At the Rancho Cordova Children’s Theatre Company, children ages 6 to 18, will have the opportunity to explore various aspects of theatre, from acting and singing to stagecraft and costume design. Through a combination of workshops, acting classes, rehearsals, and performances, they will develop confidence, communications skills, and an appreciation for the arts. Productions will range from classic fairy tales, musicals to original works, providing a diverse and inclusive experience for all participants. 

As we embark on this journey, we envision a supportive and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered to express themselves. Our goal is not only to entertain audiences, but also to foster a love of theatre that will stay with these young performers long after the curtain falls. With dedication, passion, and a sprinkle of magic, we aim to create unforgettable experiences that ignite the imagination and inspire creativity in children throughout Rancho Cordova and beyond.
